    The CGHA is proud to announce the return of Tom St. James as head coach of the Clarington Flames Midget AA team.

    Tom is an HP1 certified coach with an extensive playing and coaching resume:

    - Played in the OHL, AHL and IHL with his last 7 years playing professional hockey in Germany

    - Head Coach for Clarington Zone AAA – Midget

    - Several years as Head Coach for Orono Boy’s Competitive Teams

    - Six years coaching competitive teams within the Clarington organization

    - Three time coach at the Ontario Winter Games (2010 Assistant Coach, 2012, 2014 Head Coach)

    - In his third season as an assistant coach with UOIT Women's Hockey Team 

    - Coaching achievements include:

    o OMHA Peewee Boys All Ontario Silver Medalist

    o OWHA Provincial Bronze Medalist

    o LLFHL Champions

    o 2010 Gold Medalist – Ontario Winter Games


    Acceptance for Tier 1 coaching applications is now closed.

    All volunteers for teams require a valid Police check (not older than 2 years at any point during the hockey season) and Respect In Sports - Activity Leader certification (Coaches / Asst Coaches require coaching certifications).
