New Registration System

This season brings a new registration system for all OWHA teams. RAMP is replacing IVRNet.

  • All participants/families must register and create an account unless they have an account with RAMP through another sports organization such as Ontario Ringette.  Once a participant is registered, it will internally search and match to any imported profile with the registration history.
  • If you wish to change the amount to pay with your credit card, please select E-TRANSFER as your initial payment and finish your registration. Then go to 'TRANSACTIONS' and 'PAY OUTSTANDING BALANCE'. You can change the amount then in order to pay with a credit card.
  • There is a 3% fee to use your credit card. The league is no longer covering this cost. This is listed as "administration fee" in the registration.
  • E-transfers to: PLEASE include the player name
  • If you are registering a HOUSE LEAGUE goalie – please choose that specific registration when prompted – otherwise you will be registering as a player and not a goalie. This is for U11 – U22 only. This is not for goalies intending to play REP.
  • If you are registering a NEW U9 or U11 player (never played in our HL before), please choose that specific registration as there may be a reduced price. This is for new House League players only.
  • If you are registering for the first time with our league - please upload a copy of the player's birth certificate.
  • U9 – Novice; U11 – Atom; U13 – Peewee; U15 – Bantam; U18 – Midget; U22 – Intermediate
  • Players registering for hockey this season, recognize that this is not a traditional season.  Programming being offered by the CGHA is in accordance with the OWHA's "Return to Hockey - Stage 3 Modified Programming - August 19th, 2020".  The opportunity for further program modifications may present themselves at a later date based on direction provided by the OWHA.

  • A player who registers with the OWHA is not eligible for registration or participation in other minor or junior hockey (ie. OMHA, GTHL, Alliance)

As this is a new system, there are going to "glitches". This is new to everyone, so please be patient as we work through any issues we may have. Emails might not be answered as quickly if we experience issues.

House League Information

  • CGHA is offering a fun, dynamic 10 week program for all divisions
  • The 10 week program will run from October 17, 2020 through to December 22, 2020
  • Initiation 1 and 2 will have one ice time per week
  • U9-U15 Teams will have two ice times per week – one game and one practice
  • U18/22 will have two games per week*
  • Games will be 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 format
  • Teams will have 10-12 players plus 1 goalie (U9-U18/22)
  • Municipality and OWHA Guidelines state that the first 2 weeks MUST be instructional only – however scrimmages within practices are allowed.
  • The 2020 Fall Season will be structured in accordance with the OWHA guidelines (link below)
  • The ice allotment and times will be similar to last year
  • All activities will be physically distanced with coaches following the Clarington Return to Ice guidelines (see below)
  • The Municipality of Clarington has not allowed access to change rooms; access to benches are for games only
  • Programming will be adjusted according to OWHA, Hockey Canada and The Municipality of Clarington's guidelines when necessary.
  • If hockey is cancelled due to COVID-19, the CGHA will provide a pro-rated refund of payments made based on the point of season, reduced by non-refundable expenses for the cost of OWHA insurance, administration fees, and for jerseys/socks distributed.
  • There is a 50 person maximum allowance in the arena - only one parent is allowed to accompany their child to the arena. Any parents that are staff are considered the one parent.

*U18/22 may occasionally have a night with a "double-header". The OWHA requires teams play within a 50 person "bubble". In order to do this – we need to create two 3-team bubbles since we will have 6 teams. Teams can only play within their bubble. Given our ice allotments, double headers may be necessary.

These fees also cover other association costs such as coach and trainer certification, league insurance, staff insurance, bank fees, office administration fees, etc.

Please note: The ice restrictions in Clarington only allow for 25 players to be on the ice at one time. This limitation plus additional fees incurred due to Covid administration and tracking processes had a strong impact in setting fees for this Fall season.

We do not take teammate requests. Siblings are the only exception.
